ROH News: Matches for Midwest Doubleshot, Punk/Rave Stip. and More
On Monday, May 2, 2005 at 1:08 PM EST -As we reported some time ago, Steve Corino is done with ROH for the time being. Corino was owed a World Title shot, but since he is gone, he can not recieve it. Spanky, who works for Zero-One in Japan with Corino, will instead get the title shot. Spanky's shot will come on 6/4 in Buffalo, where he will take on whoever the ROH World Champion is that day.
-A four corner survival has been signed for 5/13 in Dayton. The match will feature Samoa Joe, Jack Evans, Ebessan, and Delirious. Suffice to say, this should be a really fun match, if nothing else.
-If BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs get past Generation Next on 5/7, the will defend the Tag Titles in Dayton. If Gen. Next wins them, they'll defend them in Chicago against Alex Shelley and whoever he finds to be his partner in Chicago.
-A Four Corner Survival has been added to the 5/14 show in Chicago as well. The match will feature Chicago's own Ace Steel, Jimmy Jacobs, Matt Stryker, and Matt Sydal.
-The winner of the CM Punk/Jimmy Rave Cage Match in Chicago will be in line for a World Title match, likely at Death Before Dishonor III.
