Tommy Dreamer informed numerous developmental wrestlers yesterday in Ohio Valley Wrestling that he would be scripting all OVW TV tapings for the next four to five weeks as Jim Cornette will be taking a break from his full-time duties as WWE's lead developmental territory. Although not much is known at this time, it has been made clear by many that Cornette is under some heat at the moment. The general feeling is that Cornette taking time off was more of a "forced vacation" and Dreamer will simply script all TV until he makes his return.

In this week's edition of Sports Illustrated Magazine, a quick mention was given in regards to Ric Flair's son Reid getting into a post-amateur wrestling match brawl after his opponent pinned him and taunted him doing the Flair strut. The article also noted that Reid briefly knocked out his opponent.

Former WWE star Matt Hardy is scheduled to appear on July 29 for Norm Connor's IWC (International Wrestling Cartel) promotion in Monroeville, PA. Hardy will be wrestling on the card. For more details, visit IWCWrestling.com.
