ROH Notes: Danielson quits ROH + Punk, Midwest Doubleshot, and More
On Monday, May 16, 2005 at 12:09 AM EST -ROH reported today they Bryan Danielson has quit Ring of Honor. They said he was so distraught after his loss to Austin Aries that he quit wrestling. This very well could be a work, but regardless, Danielson will be missing ROH shows at least in the immediate future.
-CM Punk has earned an ROH World Title match by defeating Jimmy Rave in Chicago. He will challenge for the belt on June 18th in New Jersey.
-August 12 and 13 will be ROH's next Midwest Doubleshot. As usual, the shows will be in Dayton, OH and Chicago, IL respectively.
-Jay Lethal should return to ROH in New York City on June 12th.
