Terry Taylor promoted in TNA, stars being dealt with & Jeff Peterson Cup
On Friday, May 20, 2005 at 1:26 PM EST Terry Taylor has recently been promoted to the head of TNA's talent relations division, working with Shane Douglas as a "middle man" so to speak between the workers and TNA management. This move took place over the last few weeks. Taylor also helped with backstage interviews at the Hard Justice PPV last Sunday due to Douglas becoming ill and at the Impact! tapings this past Tuesday as well.
It appears TNA is taking a somewhat harder stance with anyone in the company becoming a problem for them. Examples of this includes recently granting Kid Kash his release after he displayed a history of talking down the company on various radio shows (most recently Wrestling News Live) and other shoot promos. Others include suspending Jeff Hardy and sending him home after he no-showed the Hard Justice PPV last Sunday and Diamond Dallas Page making the decision to leave with many TNA officials not concerned about it after he tried and did get the finish of his PPV match changed.
A good amount of TNA wrestlers will be appearing at the Third Annual Jeff Peterson Cup events in Florida the weekend of June 10-11. Those scheduled to appear include Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt, Jerrelle Clark and Mikey Batts. More information regarding the events can be found at petersoncup.com.
