WGN & Spike TV still in the running for TNA TV + Jushin Liger Note & More
On Sunday, May 22, 2005 at 1:17 PM EST -Both WGN & Spike TV are reportedly interested in picking up TNA television. Nothing is set by any means at this point though.
-Jushin Liger was reportedly contacted in regards to working TNA's Slammiversary event. Liger is unable to work the show however, due to commitments with New Japan. The idea was to have Liger face Christopher Daniels, as Daniels has made the claim of being the "Best X Division Wrestler in the World", and Liger would be an international challenger to Daniels.
-Other names TNA are reportedly interested in are CM Punk, Samoa Joe & Bryan Danielson. Danielson is currently taking time off from the business, and Punk may have interest from WWE, so nothing is for sure with those two. If any of those three come in, it would likely benefit both TNA greatly, as those three are the pinnacle of ROH, and many ROH fans haven't been big on TNA since they began pulling talent following the Rob Feinstein incident last March.
