According to a statement on NWAOhio.com, The Nelson Corporation and NWA Ohio announced that they have made a play to purchase Panda Energy's 71% ownership of TNA Wrestling recently. NWA official Dave Nelson and Hacksaw Jim Duggan have both attended Impact! tapings recently in Orlando to push the offer. From what is understood, a meeting took place recently where a bid was made involving the Jarrett's and TNA CEO Frank Dickerson to buy the company. However, further details are unknown at this time. We will continue to cover this situation as it develops.

Jeff Jarrett's reason for not attending the NWA Cyberspace event this past weekend was said to be related to a legit injury. Although not much is known, Jarrett is believed to have suffered a concussion.

TNA referee Mike Posey was hospitalized yesterday for an emergency appendectomy. He is expected to make a full recovery.
