Interview Recap: Angel Orsini, The Prodigette from The Gerweck Report Extra line, 206-888-3962
- In recent times, Orsini had been living in Holland and working a lot in Europe.
- Orsini said she tried out for ECW and sent them a tape. They came up with a storyline and hired her.
- She said Tommy Dreamer was instrumental in the developmental of her ECW character, The Prodigette.
- She said she worked out with Tom Marquez and Kid Kash, and gave credit to New Jack, who she said taught her a lot. Orsini also put over Jason Knight.
- "He's a genius," stated Orsini about Paul Heyman. She said he is great at bringing out the best in everybody.
- She said the Hardcore Homecoming show is recruiting talent from the 1992-1997 period, which excludes her from the reunion show. Orsini is hopeful that if the reunion show is successful, they will do more shows.
- "I kinda talked to them," said Orsini about WWE. "I'm not going to hold my breathe for that one," she said.
- She said the last time she was in the ECW Arena, she took a piledriver from Jerry Lynn. Orsini put over ECW fans as the best in pro wrestling.
- Orsini said she didn't watch WWE in Europe because they don't show it Holland.
- "I think its excellent," she said of the "Rise and Fall of ECW" DVD.
- She said she didn't get to finish her program with Jazz in ECW.
- Orsini said that when ECW closed, she wasn't owed a single dime.
- Orsini said she was hired in early 2000 by ECW, and stayed till the end. She said she missed the last house show due to an automobile accident. Her doctors told her she would never wrestle again, but she was back in action in six months.
- She said she was honored to work a tag match with Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond.
- Orsini talked about working with Jazz at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia for Women Extreme Wrestling.

- She said when she works independent shows, people still remember her from ECW.
- She described the Women Extreme Wrestling product as "hot." She said it's a mix of talented female wrestlers, and girls that are there for eye candy. "This company pushes the limits."
- Orsini is part of the FBI - Full Breasted Italians in WEW.
- Orsini was trained by Liz Chase. She said Chase passed away a few weeks before she got hired by ECW.
- She said her original training was in martial arts.
- She said she has wrestled Joanie Laurer (before she was in WWF), Lita, and Luna.
- Orsini said she started training Molly Holly. "I knew she was going to make it from the day I met her," recalled Orsini.
- She identified her best matches against Jazz.
- In 2003, she took time off from wrestling to take care of her grandmother.
- She moved to Holland to try out for a sponsorship for boxing, but she found herself doing wrestling in her stay.
- She said Francine helped her get started with a Texas promotion that is doing women wrestling shows.
