Update on arrest of Jerry Lawler's son Kevin -- claims mistaken identity
On Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 1:46 PM EST To add on the story we had up yesterday on WrestleView.com regarding the arrest of Jerry Lawler's son Kevin on burglary charges in Memphis, WREG.com has posted an update stating that after an appearance in court to face the charges Lawler has claimed he was a victim of mistaken identity.
Mark Mesler, Lawler's attorney, commented on the situation adding: "I wouldn't rush to any judgements in this case because I feel quite certain you'll see some alibi witnesses when this case comes to a preliminary hearing." Lawler claimed in court that he was at work at 9pm when the woman reportedly saw him sleeping on the floor of her apartment.
