TNA is still said to be continuing negotiations with WGN at this time. Dixie Carter has yet to sign off on an official deal as Carter has the final say when she feels the company has found the best deal possible. It should be noted that some in the company who feel they should be kept in the loop about this TV deal situation aren't, which includes people in all levels of the company from wrestlers to office staff.

There has been some talk reportedly within TNA about bringing back Simon Diamond (who began to use his real name Pat Kenney until being renamed to The Empire Saint later) and James Mitchell. Low Ki's name has also been brought up, but it doesn't look like he will returning at this time as there wasn't enough support from those in the company right now.

Alex Marvez recently conducted an interview with Shane Douglas in his syndicated column. In the column, Douglas talks about WWE's upcoming ECW One Night Stand PPV, the Hardcore Homecoming event on June 10 and his overall duties in TNA. About the ECW One Night Stand event, Douglas added, "Vince McMahon could care less about the ECW legacy. He's just trying to find a way to jumpstart his product by using ECW. Whether that works, the fans will decide." For more, click here.
