The Dayton Daily News has an article up today regarding TNA superstar Shark Boy, real name Dean Roll, filing a lawsuit against Disney-owned Miramax Film Corporation claiming that his "Shark Boy" trademark has been infringed upon. For those who might have caught the trailers on TV, Miramax will be releasing a movie on Friday called "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl."

Roll filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati, OH to protect his interest. According to reports, Roll trademarked the name "Shark Boy " five years ago and wants defendants, including Dimension Films, Troublemaker Studios and others, to return any "money profits and advantages wrongfully gained" along with triple damages, attorney fees and expenses for bringing the action filed by Dayton attorney Thoma J. Intilli.
