Early word coming out of the Hardcore Homecoming event this past Friday night was that it was a huge success and drew a reported gate between $130,000 and $140,000. That gate is more than what many WWE house shows draw and according to one report, the merchandise sales went through the roof. More information regarding merchandise from the event can be found at www.hardcorehomecoming.com, including the new "Forever Hardcore" documentary that is now on-sale. Those involved with the show will be heading into the studio this week to get started on the DVD set and it is scheduled to have a very quick turnaround, thus pumping even more money into the project.

There was talk that Elektra would be taking part in the ECW One Night Stand event tonight in New York City. I'm sure we can expect some other big surprises planned as well.
