The word within WWE going into the PPV this Sunday was that they initially forecasted the ECW One Night Stand event to draw around 300,000 buys. According to those in the cable industry, the early estimate is that the show drew even more than that, with one source even throwing out 800,000 buys as a possible number. Preliminary numbers will be released in the next week or two and will give the public a better idea of how the show did.

According to reports, Joey Styles has signed a multi-year deal with WWE to do work on ECW DVDs and footage for the 24/7 cable service. This is a great move by WWE as former ECW stars talking about the product on the 24/7 service is a nice touch, but without that classic Joey Styles voice it really isn't ECW.

On a related note, Styles has added a column on 1wrestling.com talking about his involvement with both the Hardcore Homecoming and One Night Stand events this past weekend. It is a great read and you can check it out by clicking here.
