According to reports, an incident took place backstage at the ECW One Night Stand event this past Sunday in New York City between Francine and Dawn Marie. Initial reports from the incident were that Marie became very upset when Francine reportedly blew her off upon entering the building that day and refusing to shake her hand, with Marie cursing at her and feeling that Francine was disrespectful, especially since she was an "outsider" and Marie was a "WWE star."

When Francine was reached for comment regarding the story, she denied ever being disrespectful to anyone that night, especially Dawn Marie. "This did not happen that way," Francine added. "Dawn came over to me and said "Hi". I extended my hand to her and we shook hands. I then said "How are you?" She said, "I see you are as pleasant as ever", rolled her eyes and walked away. I just ignored her comments. If she called me a b*tch, I didn't hear it. I didn't disrespect her in any way and I did shake her hand. We are not the best of friends but I shook her hand because it was the right thing to do. Whoever told the story is lying to make me look bad. There were people standing with me that saw me shake her hand."

In any event, those involved with the show at one point felt a physical incident may have taken place if Marie wasn't pregnant (and you could obviously tell she was during her appearance in the beginning of the night). It is no secret that neither got along during their run in Extreme Championship Wrestling years ago. The irony in all of this is that it appears Francine replaced Marie, due to her pregnancy, in the "catfight" spot at the end of the show where Francine attacked Beulah McGuillicuty. Francine and Beulah also have a history of not getting along either.
