As we reported on earlier today, C.M. Punk is expected to sign a developmental deal with WWE with the next several days. Punk will be working his final match for Ring of Honor this Saturday as well in Morristown, New Jersey at the Death Before Dishonor III event.

To add on the story we had up yesterday on WrestleView regarding some of Tommy Dreamer's injuries from the ECW One Night Stand event, it appears that when Dreamer suffered his ear injury following a cane shot from Bubba Ray Dudley that it has caused him some loss of hearing. We hope to have more on this situation soon.

Adam Lebow sent in the following... LiveAudioWrestling has just posed on its website that after directly contacting WWE Canada, Rogers Sportsnet will not be dropping WWE Afterburn across Canada, as it will continue to air until the WWE deal with SpikeTV expires. For the time being, WWE Canada would not comment on what will occur to the Syndicated TV shows or the weekend WWE show, for both Canada and the US.

It should be noted that soon after WWE shifted its programming to TNN from USA Network, Rogers Sportsnet dropped airing Sunday Night Heat, so TNN Canada would not air replacement programming. With WWE shifting from Spike to USA, one has to wonder what will happen to the show being picked up in Canada.
