SmackDown rating, Sabu meeting with WWE, Jericho on Goldberg note
On Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 6:14 PM EST The 6/16 edition of WWE SmackDown drew a final 3.4 broadcast rating with a 6 share.
According to reports, Sabu will be meeting with Vince McMahon on Monday in Phoenix, AZ at the site of WWE RAW that night. McMahon was said to have been very impressed with Sabu's work at the ECW One Night Stand event last Sunday. On a side note, Sabu is "tentatively" scheduled to appear on Wrestling News Live tomorrow night at 11pm Eastern/10pm Central.
Chris Jericho posted a new message in his official website's commentary area stating that the interview recap that made the rounds yesterday on various wrestling websites about him making some harsh statements about Bill Goldberg was not true and that he never did an interview for "Real Rock 98 KUPD." Jericho's statement can be read here. We posted and re-worded excerpts from that interview yesterday credited to PWInsider.com. There was no mention made of Jericho appearing on the radio station earlier this week in the show's section, but they do plug RAW this Monday night coming to Phoenix.
