To add on the report earlier on WrestleView by Ryan Droste regarding the Multichannel News report that TNA is close to signing a deal with Spike TV for a Saturday night timeslot starting in October, it still remains to be seen if TNA will be paying for this new deal or if they will be getting paid for it. TNA's last television deal with Fox Sports Net saw them pay an estimated $30,000 a week, something they were hoping to move away from when in negotiations with other cable networks. We will keep everyone posted on this developing situation.

A video of Tracy Smothers issuing his challenge to WWE's John Bradshaw Layfield is now available for viewing online. Smothers has made it clear that he is very serious about this and did not approve of Mr. Layfield's actions at the ECW One Night Stand event last Sunday in New York City. To view the video, click here. Also, Tracy Smothers joined our good friends over at Wrestling News Live last night to discuss in more detail about what went down at the show and an uncensored version of what he truly feels about JBL. It is a great listen for those interested in the situation.

Kildonan Sports sent in the following... Manitoba based indy wrestler TJ Bratt got engaged to his girlfriend Crystal Normand this past Saturday. TJ proposed to her in the ring on Saturday after an Indy show in Winnipeg, Manitoba and she accepted. The crowd gave a big ovation as TJ, on the mic, invited Crystal into the ring, dropped to one knee and popped the question. All wrestlers joined in on the celebrations as the crowd cheered. It was a touching moment indeed.
