Note on why TNA has to wait with Spike TV, Jarrett & Hardy note + more
On Monday, June 20, 2005 at 3:10 PM EST Reports have been buzzing since the release of the Multichannel News article stating that TNA is currently negotiating with Spike TV for a Saturday night timeslot starting in October. I think many can understand why the deal with WGN fell through as Spike is a much stronger network to join. The only negative is that TNA will have to wait until October as WWE's current contract with the network calls for exclusivity. That contract expires in September when they move their programming back to the USA Network.
Jeff Jarrett is scheduled to appear at the scheduled Impact! taping tomorrow in Orlando following the storyline that took place yesterday where he was removed from the King of the Mountain Match after attacking a fan. Given how the fan was dressed, many feel this will lead into the return of Jeff Hardy to TNA and start up another feud between Jarrett and Hardy. This will push into the next PPV, No Surrender, on July 17 where former WWE star Matt Hardy is expected to debut.
