TNA star Trinity reportedly requested for her release from TNA after speaking with officials at the Slammiversary PPV event this past Sunday in Orlando. It should be noted that she didn't appear at the Impact! tapings last night and instead choose to spend time with former TNA star Kid Kash (who she also hung out with at the ECW One Night Stand event two weeks ago). There remains no word on if Trinity was granted her release from TNA, but many weren't surprised that she asked for it given her recent closeness to Kash.

There were a few injuries coming out of the Impact! tapings last night. Alex Shelley suffered a broken nose, while Michael Shane tweaked his knee. Although it isn't known how severe each was, they were bad enough to see TNA management pull both from the main event of the final taping as they were replaced by Team Canada's A-1 and Bobby Roode.

There are a number of people within TNA that felt last night's tapings in Orlando for Impact! (four tapings in all) were some of the best in-ring matches in the show's history. However, those same people also felt the company was going to have to work hard to get over some of the personalities of some of the current and more new stars used. The first taping is scheduled to air this Friday on TNAwrestling.com.
