Several other parties have been added to Shark Boy's lawsuit against Dimension Films over the rights to the name "Shark Boy" in regards to the new feature film "Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D." According to a motion filed on June 14, Fisher-Price (toy licensee for the film), McDonalds (did fast food promotion for the film) and Sleepyheads.com (had pajama license for the film) joined Dimension Films, Miramax, Sony Pictures, Troublemaker Studios, director Robert Rodriguez and producer Elizabeth Avellan in the lawsuit. As previously reported, the suit alleges that the motion picture is trademark infringment, unfair competition and dilution of the "Shark Boy" name that has been trademarked since 1997. Additional parties could be added to the suit as well.

Brad Bernstein is no longer with TNA. Bernstein handled publicity for TNA in the last few months or so. Andy Barton has reportedly taken over the position as he issued the press release this week regarding TNA's new DVD distribution deal with Navarre Entertainment. TNA has yet to update a new contact e-mail on their website for those interested located here. Barton has been described as Dixie Carter's "right hand man" so to speak.
