TNA is currently in the process of preparing numerous things in the company in preparation for the debut on Spike TV this October. Plans are said to be finalized regarding an online live radio show on TNA's website that will be hosted by Jeremy Borash. A new forum area is also said to be in the plans and more details will be added to the new "TNA Canada" section for those viewers who will see Impact! on Spike in Canada. Although it is still in the planning stages, a TNA Magazine is also said to be in the works as well.

Simon Diamond has added a new column over on his official website. In this column, Diamond praises the new TV deal TNA has signed with Spike TV. Diamond writes, "GOD IS A WRESTLING FAN!!! What a great day it was. The wrestling business has changed now that there is another promotion with national television. I can't wait to get started and watch the ratings climb and climb. I know we have something different to offer then the other guys; athletic, innovative wrestling with a fresh roster and a real creative team. Now, lets all support it!!!"

It was announced on TNAwrestling.com that a portion of the sales for the TNA Lockdown PPV DVD would be donated to the Chris Candido Memorial Fund. TNA management was at first going to remove the match from the show where Candido suffered an ankle injury that eventually led to his death following complications from surgery. Candido's family gave TNA their blessing to keep it included on the show. A tribute to Candido will also appear on the DVD, including his final appearance on Impact! where The Naturals captured the NWA World Tag Team Titles from America's Most Wanted.
