NOTE: Within 10 minutes of posting this, the forums are now BACK UP and running at this time.

Myself and Adam wanted to give our forum members an update on what has happened the last 6 days with our discussion forums.

On Saturday, our server, Frognet, shut down our message board because of what they told us were security issues. We were told that this problem would be fixed by late Sunday or early Monday.

By Monday afternoon, the problem still was not fixed, and we contacted Frognet again, which resulted in us either being told that a) the problem was being fixed, or b) getting no answer at all. Most e-mail attempts by myself or Adam to check on the status were ignored by Frognet.

We also contacted Paul and made him aware of this problem. Paul told us that the problem could be fixed in 10 minutes, and to update him on the situation. We tried contacting Frognet again, since we know now that the problem would only take 10 minutes to fix, but once again got no specific answers as to when it would be fixed.

We want to appologize to all of our members for this. Needless to say, this issue has been a major headache for Paul, Adam and I. To make matters worse, we have been getting little or no co-operation from Frognet on that matter.

After a couple of days of being ignored by Frognet, we finally heard from them that it was now up to us to get the problem fixed. If we were informed of this on day 1, the forums would be up and running by now.

For those who don't know, Paul is currently on vacation overseas, and will now have to fix the message board while he is on his vacation. Paul is hoping to have everything fixed by Friday night. In addition to this, Paul called Frognet from overseas to talk to someone about this.

For the record, although none of us are pleased with Frognet about this, we don't want to place the entire blame on them, we just find it extremely unfair to both us, and you for telling us 6 days after the fact, that it would now be up to us to fix this problem.

Again, we appologize for the problem, and want to assure you that we did everything we could to get the board back up as quick as possible. We will keep you updated on the matter.

Thanks,
- Ryan Allen
