More on Joey Styles promotion/PPV taping, Hart Foundation, and more
On Monday, August 1, 2005 at 1:53 PM EST The scheduled August 20th taping of Joey Styles' Extremely Hardcore PPV at Earthlink Live in Atlanta, GA will be a split event with WEW (Women's Extreme Wrestling). Each group will be taping a one hour pay per view event. Styles' partners with the promotion include Steve Karel, Greg Bagorozy and Dan Kowal. It should be noted that plans for the promotion were already underway before the "ECW craze" this past June so a decision was made to let that situation cool off before debuting. Styles did tape a pilot episode for the promotion not long ago, but it was never meant to air and was rather a promotional tape for various PPV carriers. Many expect the promotion to be filled with a host of former ECW stars such as The Sandman and Justin Credible. Using some former ECW stars that are currently under contract with TNA such as Raven, Jerry Lynn, Rhino, Shane Douglas and others is out of the question at this point. Ty Tolk also passed along the link to the Ticketmaster listing for the event here.
Some photos are now online from the recent Border City Wrestling event where a Hart Foundation reunion took place with Bret "Hitman" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. To view the photos, click here.
An article has been added on Moviehole.net about an upcoming independent film called "Sin-Jim Smyth" that stars former WWE Diva Jacqueline. For more, click here.
