- The originally planned match between Ric Flair and Triple H for SummerSlam has been called off for the time being. The match (which had some minor promotion already for it) will likely take place sometime in the fall when Triple H makes his return to television. There is still no word yet on when exactly Triple H will return with some saying next month, other’s saying not until November.

- As reported on earlier, Smackdown scored 3.6 overnight rating with a 6 share. The final number should be out later tonight or sometime over the weekend.

- VH1 has renewed the contract for Hogan Knows Best and will be bringing it back for a second season during the first quarter of 2006. VH1 sent out the following press release about the renewal:

The July 10 season premiere of "Hogan Knows Best," was the number one rated telecast in the P18-49 demographic for the night, breaking VH1 records with a 1.9 in the demo. It was the highest rated series premiere in the network's history and the highest rated regular episode telecast ever.
The new order will include 12 episodes, 4 more than the show's first season. Season 2 is slated to premiere in first quarter 2006.
