The first taping for Joey Style's Extremely Hardcore PPV that will be taking place on August 20 at Earthlink Live in Atlanta, GA will be featuring many former ECW stars as rumored earlier. Those confirmed so far includes Sabu (who I don't believe signed an official contract with TNA that would prevent him from making PPV appearances), Justin Credible, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, Gary Wolfe, Mikey Whipwreck, CW Anderson, New Jack and former WWE star Rodney Mack. John Finnegan will handle the referee duties while Stephen DeAngelis will be doing ring announcing.

Francine is also rumored to be involved with the project as well. On a side note, New Jack is scheduled to team with NWA Wildside worker Murder One to form an updated version of The Gangstas when they take on Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney. Other matches scheduled for the taping include Sabu vs. Justin Credible, Mikey Whipwreck vs. CW Anderson and Gary Wolfe vs. Rodney Mack (who did work for ECW as Red Dog before jumping to OVW and later having a stint in WWE). Former ECW officials Steve Karel, Greg Bagarozy and Dan Kowal are all partners in the project with Styles.

The first PPV will air on InDemand on September 9. We will no doubt have a full report from the show. If you attend the show, please feel free to pass along a report.
