WWE Champion John Cena was scheduled for all RAW brand House Show events this past weekend, but did not appear on any. According to reports, Cena was given the weekend off after he requested it due to a wedding he wanted to attend. Many fans who attended the events were said to be upset that Cena didn't appear on any of the shows. Cena did make an autograph appearance in Syracuse, NY the day before the event on Thursday at a local Best Buy that drew an estimated 1,000 people.

Spike TV in Canada did not air WWE Sunday Night Heat last night. The program was instead replaced by an episode from the series "VIP" which I believe starred Pamela Anderson. TV Guide did have "VIP" listed in the spot for Heat, so it is possible this change was done on purpose. Heat is scheduled on Spike next week in Canada however so it might have been a one week thing only.

According to Ticketmaster.com, SummerSlam in Washington, D.C. in two weeks is officially sold out.
