The following took place on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio:

Dark Match/WWE Velocity Tapings:

- Frankie Kazarian defeated Paul London.

- WWE Cruiserweight Champion Nunzio defeated Jimmy Jacobs.

- Mr. Ken Anderson defeated Funaki.

- Hardcore Holly defeated Steven Richards.

WWE SmackDown Tapings (Air Date - August 11):

- Booker T defeated Joey Mercury.

- Christian's Peep Show: This week's guest was World Heavyweight Champion Batista. Christian complained about not having a match at SummerSlam. He then challenges Batista to a match for later tonight. Batista accepts.

- WWE Tag Team Champions Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich defeated unknown tag team.

- Backstage, Randy Orton was shown arguing with SmackDown GM Teddy Long. Long told Orton that he has a match tonight against a Legend who had a legendary feud with The Undertaker.

- Randy Orton vs. Kamala ended in a No Contest. Orton hit the RKO on Kamala, posed and then Undertaker's music hit. A "RIP" video played on the TitanTron.

- Psicosis & Super Crazy defeated William Regal & Scotty 2 Hotty. The match saw Regal leave halfway through and allow Juventud to interfere to give Psicosis & Crazy the win. This segment was also taped last week, but never aired.

- Chris Benoit defeated Simon Dean.

- A 20 minute segment took place involving the Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio storyline with Dominic. Guerrero brought a child service worker in order to bring Dominic to him. Both Guerrero and Mysterio went back and forth on the mic for a bit. Then, the service worker decided to put Dominic in a foster home instead. This sets up a match between Guerrero & Mysterio at SummerSlam with custody rights on the line.

- World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. Christian ended in a No Contest. As Batista was about to hit the Batista Bomb on Christian, JBL hit the ring and took out Batista.

Post-Taping Bonus Match:

- World Heavyweight Champion Batista defeated JBL in a Street Fight Match.
