According to reports, Shawn Michaels requested a private in-ring practice session with Hulk Hogan before their match at SummerSlam on August 21st. Hogan turned down the offer because he didn't feel his body could take much physical "wear and tear" at this point in his career and that he didn't want to waste any big bumps if it wasn't for money or in front of a crowd. To compromise the situation, Hogan competed in a Six-Man Tag Team Match following the RAW taping in Pittsburgh when he teamed with John Cena & Batista against Michaels, Kurt Angle & JBL. It has become very obvious to many within WWE that Michaels will have to work hard at SummerSlam given Hogan's rather immobile in-ring capability.

It was reported last week that in order to get their feud over a bit more, Hulk Hogan suggested an idea of having Shawn Michaels superkick his son Nick. Michaels turned down the idea feeling he didn't have to do that to get the feud over. We also know now that Hogan suggested that Michaels insult his daughter Brooke in promos between the two to further the angle. Michaels turned down that idea as well.

One source close to the situation has stated that Shawn Michaels does not like Hulk Hogan very much and believed that Michaels was going to "stick it to Hogan" during their face-to-face segment on RAW this past Monday night in Pittsburgh.
