Buzz regarding ECW brand within WWE, SmackDown, Byte This archive
On Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 2:35 PM EST Although quite a buzz was taking place within WWE following the release of the "Rise & Fall of ECW" DVD and the "One Night Stand" PPV event that followed it this past June, there is said to be little to no talk about the ECW brand internally within the company at the moment. Rumored deals with The Sandman and Sabu have reportedly been pushed back and are being given little thought right now. Despite this taking place, the working plan was to run a yearly ECW PPV, but that appears to be it.
Just a quick reminder to WWE viewers that SmackDown tonight in Philadelphia will be pre-empted and will most likely air this weekend instead.

WWE.com has posted the archive of last night's edition of Byte This with Matt Hardy, Edge and Lita. Hardy joins Todd Grisham in the studio, while Edge & Lita are "via satellite."
