Report from WEW and Extremely Hardcore Wrestling Tapings in Atlanta
On Sunday, August 21, 2005 at 3:40 PM EST Extremely Hardcore Wrestling (formerly titled Joey Style's Extremely Hardcore) and Women's Extreme Wrestling (WEW) both taped for PPV last night at EarthLink Live in Atlanta. Extremely Hardcore will debut on PPV on September 9th on In Demand and on September 15th on TVN1 Pay-Per-View. Here is a rundown from the tapings last night:
WEW: One Night of Insanity Tapings
- Passion defeated Jackie Gayda.
- Talia Madison defeated Lollipop.
- "Prime Time" Amy Lee defeated School Girl Tara Bush & Pussy Willow to become the new Hardcore #1 contender.
- Simply Luscious defeated Mercedes Martinez.
- Jazz defeated Angel Orsini w/ Franince to retain the WEW Championship.
Extremely Hardcore Wrestling PPV Tapings
- Mikey Whipwreck defeated CW Anderson.
- Rodney Begnaud (aka Rodney Mack) w/ Jazz defeated "Pitbull" Gary Wolfe.
- Diamond Dallas Page defeated Justin Credible w/ Francine.
- The New Gangstas (New Jack & Murder-One) defeated Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten.
Notes: There was said to only be maybe 150 people in attendance. Everyone was moved down to the floor when it became apparent how odd it would look on camera. Many fans noted how the $35 floor seats were not worth the time or the money.
