Bret Hart took part in a Q & A session at the NWA Legends convention this past weekend in North Carolina. Here are some highlights of some of the things Hart talked about:

- Bret confirmed that he has signed on for another Canadian production of "Aladdin" in which he will play the role of the Genie again.

- When he was asked about WWE, Bret said he hoped that the WWE doesn't forget what they did to him. Hart noted that he is over the situation, but knows he could have made a lot of contributions to the company and to its wrestlers. He said when they screwed him they lost that access. Bret said his heart will never be with the WWE again and that the "screwjob" situation was never a storyline to him. He said it didn't feel right for his legacy to be diminished to that one situation in 1997, so he compromised his feelings and went ahead with the WWE DVD deal. Hart said he would rather give his insights about the business to TNA or another wrestling promotion.

- When a fan asked him about Triple H and how he was cursed out at a WWE show for holding a Bret Hart sign, Hart called Triple H a "no good piece of s***" and that he and Shawn were both "lying pieces of s***" who swore to God they knew nothing about the situation in Montreal. Hart said if someone had reversed the sides and if Vince or anyone else wanted him to screw Shawn, he said he would have never done it. He said that only people who can't get over in Montreal are the ones responsible because they have to look in the mirror every day. Hart said he knows to this day that neither Triple H or Shawn Michaels like how well regarded his legacy is and they still want to tear him down as much as possible. He said both were "out of sync with reality."

- Hart said he doesn't blame Vince McMahon as much about the situation as he does with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. He said Vince is a "ruthless businessman" and expected something like this from him, but that many wrestlers have a code of trust that both Shawn and Triple H broke.

- He also talked about the rumors that he was going to try and take the WWF Title to WCW, noting that it was a "bulls*** story" since the WWF was suing WCW over what Alundra Blayze did (taking the WWF Women's Title and throwing it in a trash can on Nitro). Hart said it would have been impossible from a legal standpoint for him to do that and said WWE likes to float around that story to protect themselves.

- When going back to the Montreal incident, Hart noted that he would had no problem dropping the belt in Montreal to anyone else since his issue was with Shawn Michaels. He then told the story about the locker room fight that took place between himself and Michaels where he took out a clump of HBK's hair.

- Hart noted that before he was involved with the WWE DVD, they had filmed interviews with Jerry Lawler, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels all burying him. He said Lawler claimed he was selfish when the reality was that he was just trying to protect his own assets as an independent contractor and was then backed into a corner. Hart said quote, "Montreal was about right and wrong, not Canada and the United States."

- When asked about the WWE Hall of Fame, Bret added that he made a promise to himself that he would never work for the WWF/WWE ever again, so he doesn't feel he will ever be back as an on-air character. He did say that if the DVD does do well he would consider going back based on how that works out and being involved with the Hall of Fame. Hart said it would be nice to make that final farewell speech he never got to make, but quickly noted that "we aren't there yet" in regards to his current relationship with WWE.
