Franki Iadevia of Jersey All Pro Wrestling issued a statement on Tuesday night noting that the promotion has canceled the previously scheduled September 10th match between James Gibson (aka Jamie Noble) and Homicide in Rahway, NJ due to outside interference from ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky. Iadevia added, "I feel bad for "ALL" the fans that were looking forward to this classic encounter and have been robbed by the actions of another promoter."

From what is understood regarding the situation between both Iadevia and Sapolsky, the issue is over James Gibson losing cleanly to Homicide in their scheduled match that was said to have been planned weeks in advance before Gibson captured the ROH Title from CM Punk. According to Sapolsky, it has been made clear in the past that whoever has held the ROH Title has never done clean jobs in other independent promotions while still remaining the champion. Saplosky also noted that if a TNA talent came to ROH and was a current champion for the promotion, he would contact TNA personally and ask for their approval regarding a TNA champion losing in a TNA ring. A perfect example of this was Matt Hardy going over Christopher Daniels (current TNA X Division Champion) recently.

Sapolosky did state that JAPW never contacted him with any ideas regarding Gibson before and that his main concern was that an ROH Champion didn't lose cleanly in the ring as he wants to continue building the prestige of the belt that they have worked so hard to get. JAPW then made the call to pull Gibson from the show when it became clear that the issue wasn't going to be worked out. Iadevia later added that Sapolosky "could have asked us to respect his championship, not tell us what we had to do on our show." JAPW was quick to mention how ROH has used their talent in the past and booked them the way they saw fit, regardless if they were champions or not. Sapolosky responded to these claims, noting that he was never contacted by JAPW about how they wanted their talent to be looked at and that he doesn't "keep tabs" on what belts ROH regulars hold in other promotions.
