Joseph Price sent word that the Spike TV logo normally seen on the WWE RAW set has now been removed. The common conclusion is that this was done in part due to TNA announcing their television deal with Spike starting on October 1st.

On a side note, from those I've spoke with and based on what has been said on the company's website, TNA is gearing up big time for this Spike TV debut on October 1st with many surprises in store. It will be interesting to see what kind of ratings the show pulls in the first few weeks given that they are replacing WWE Velocity, a show that has averaged between a 0.5 and 0.6 for the past two years.
