A new "Bank Shot" column by Bill Banks has been added on TNA's website this week. Here are some news and notes:

- The Sacrifice PPV from two weeks ago is said to be doing some very strong replay buys. If anyone has been disappointed with WWE PPV events as of late, there is another pay per view option and you will no doubt get your money's worth with TNA.

- Banks notes the injuries suffered by AJ Styles, Alex Shelley at Chris Sabin two weeks ago. Styles suffered a knee injury in his match with Samoa Joe at Sacrifice. Shelley tweaked his back a bit at the Impact! tapings, while Sabin suffered a serious injury to his jaw.

- TNA officials had a meeting this past week with representatives from Canada's "Fight Network" to discuss programming opportunities. That network will be launching in early September.

- Banks heavily plugs the September 27th TV tapings for the Spike TV debut in Orlando, noting that the company was "working on some surprises for the show that should make it a must see."

- "TNA Anthology: The Epic Set" DVD collection will be released in Wal-Mart sometime in mid-September. The set will feature Victory Road, Turning Point and Lockdown. More DVD titles will be released through other major retailers on October 4th that includes titles involving AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Raven and The Best of the X Division. PPV titles such as Final Resolution, Against All Odds and Destination X will also hit retailers in November.

- Any online reports that claimed the Internet Dream Match Poll involved with the Sacrifice PPV was rigged are false. Banks added, "Three words - just plain stupid. Please people - stop taking these assinine web rumors as gospel."

- As of late week, Christopher Daniels became the longest reigning X Division Champion in TNA history. Daniels beat out Petey Williams' previous record. Daniels has held the title since March 13th.

- TNA is going to start cracking down on individuals who are stealing TNA's website design, graphics or copyrighted photos. Those guilty as of late include some independent wrestling promoters who are using artwork and photos for their own websites. One of the worst cases involved one promoter blantly stealing TNA's new website design and leaving TNA's copyright information at the bottom.

- TNA officials are working on finalizing a list of stars that will be appearing at the Bound for Glory fanfest on Saturday, October 22nd.

- Many TNA stars will be appearing at Border City Wrestling's "International Incident" event on September 15th in Oldcastle, Ontario. It includes NWA World Champion Raven, Jeff Jarrett, X Division Champion Christopher Daniels, Team Canada, America's Most Wanted, Rhino, Abyss, Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin and more.
