Matt Hardy's current status in WWE -- Hardy said to be very frustrated
On Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 1:57 PM EST - Now that the hype of Matt Hardy's return has died down, many are noticing that Hardy is becoming more and more frustrated with WWE as the weeks go by.
Hardy may of not been aware of the fact that, despite a huge fan push to get him back in the company, the powers that be still consider him a mid-card, average talent. Hardy feels he wasn't given enough of a chance to prove himself upon his return, and that was largely in part due to the fact that management believed his promo on Raw several weeks ago was nothing special, and mediocre at best. WWE managment still feels that Hardy lacks verbal skills, and he is viewed as nothing more then an average talent, who will remain at the mid-card level with a slight possibility of moving upward.
WWE management is still much more interested in pushing Edge, as they believe the top priority in the Matt Hardy and Edge feud is to make Edge look good.
When Matt Hardy made the decision to re-sign with WWE, Hardy was telling people that he felt that Vince McMahon believed in him and they were at an agreement on how they would use Hardy to his full potential.
Hardy most definitely did not re-sign with WWE with any thoughts that he would end up being buried right from the get go, as evident by a loss to Edge at SummerSlam, then a loss to Rob Conway on RAW.
It is clear that Hardy either misunderstood what WWE's plans for him were, or McMahon led Hardy to believe they had big plans for him, in order to get him to re-sign.
