*The recent Extreme Championship Wrestling nostalgia of both the WWE ECW One Night Stand, and Hardcore Homecoming are one of the highlights of the interview, as The Big Mosh asks Lance what his thoughts are on it all. Lance describes the One Night Stand show as an effort from both the respect and love from the fans, and the performing in the ring from the wrestlers on the show. He mentions that it benefits both the fans and the wrestlers, to be able to relive all of the past memories.
*Lance's opponent at One Night Stand, Chris Jericho, is then mentioned, as the Big Mosh asks Lance to run down his history with Chris Jericho, from training camp, all the way through Lance's last televised match to date at the ECW PPV. Lance says the career of himself and Jericho was a lot of tag teaming with each other, in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, but also a lot of singles matches as well, over the 15 year career span of both men. Lance then says that it's always been fun, with both his first and last match being against Chris Jericho, along with breaking into the business together, and also tagging as the Thrill Seekers for part of their career.
*The recent feud between Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels is then mentioned by The Big Mosh, as he asks Lance what his whole take on the whole thing was. Lance says that although he didn't get the chance to see the match, or the pay-per-view itself, he admits that he did watch in weeks building up to it, and breaks each week down a little bit, from the "industry standpoint" without revealing too much. Some of the thoughts mentioned include whether some of the promos helped give the baby face the upper hand like it should've, and how Shawn Michaels "had his working boots on" during the match.
*That storyline then leads into the next topic of discussion, which was brought up into the storyline by one Shawn Michaels, that being the infamous Montreal Screwjob from Survivor Series 1997, which involved both Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Lance begins that by stating that he wishes the whole thing would die, so it wouldn't be remembered as "the end all of Bret Hart's career." Lance then plugs Bret Hart's DVD, which is in early production currently, to save the legacy of the long career of Bret "The Hitman" Hart. The Big Mosh then runs down a few quotes from Bret, from the NWA Legends Convention, where he gives vulgar thoughts on both Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Next year's WrestleMania Hall of Fame ceremony is then mentions, as The Big Mosh asks if Lance sees Bret returning for that next year, or even sooner. Lance mentions that he would like to see Bret Hart hit all of the big cities in a mini-tour on house shows just to thank the fans one final time, and let the fans give the applaud that he deserves. He wishes that the chants of "You Screwed Bret" turn into good chants of "Hit Man" and applause for the illustrious 25 year career of Bret Hart. Lance then breaks down his thoughts on that infamous chants of "You Screwed Bret," saying that it's the only way to say something about him currently, since they don't have a chance to say thank you, yet.
*The Big Mosh brings back the great game of word association to The Mayhem, and dishes out a few names and words to Lance. The first is William Regal, which Lance says that he had a great time tagging with him, how he loves his style of wrestling, and also mentioning that he just finished Regal's book. The Big Mosh then mentions "Primetime" Elix Skipper, in which Lance says he just talked to him for the first time in awhile a few weeks ago, and how he's progressed in his career. The compare and contrast of Team Canada in TNA and Team Canada in WCW is then mentioned, which Lance says he doesn't get to watch, so he can't really comment, but looks forward to come October on Spike. Tommy Dreamer is then mentioned, where Lance says he loved working with him on and off television, and mentions how a large part of the ECW PPV was in his hands, and his deep love for his business.
*Some other topics of discussion in the hour long interview with Lance Storm include an in-depth look inside and out at the newly opening Storm Wrestling Academy (opening next month), the biggest changes in his career, the future wrestlers of the business, Paul Heyman, and who he thinks will be the next batch of OVW trainees brought up to WWE television. Other matches and storylines going into SummerSlam (including Matt Hardy & Edge), Christian's current & future WWE stint, Joey Styles & his Extremely Hardcore shows, The Impact Players, how ECW wasn't as hardcore as people say. All this & much, much more!
An epic one hour interview -- and no "boring" chants needed!
