The 8/25 edition of WWE SmackDown drew a 3.1 fast national rating with a 5 share. The final broadcast number should be available very soon.

As reported on before SummerSlam, the plan within WWE was to possibly go right into a feud between Batista and Randy Orton, or have Batista start a program with Eddie Guerrero instead. Based on some of the early SmackDown house show cards, Batista is listed to defend his World Title against Guerrero. So, it is possible they may start with the Guerrero feud first, although house show cards are always subject to change.

The upcoming Jake "The Snake" Roberts DVD that will be released through WWE in November will be called "Pick Your Poison." Jim Ross noted in his return edition of The Ross Report that he conducted an interview with Roberts for the DVD and that Jake didn't hold anything back. Many are wondering if his actions on the "Beyond the Mat" documentary will be talked about as well.
