To follow up on reports from yesterday regarding the TNA commercials airing during RAW this past Monday night, we now know that WWE officials were given a warning ahead of time that they would be airing starting this week until the show debuts on October 1st. So, over the next four weeks WWE's current audience will be exposed to the TNA product and new commercials for the company are expected to air over that four week period. TNA's debut show on October 1st will truly show how well the ad. campaign did for the company. Anything above a 2.0 rating would be considered a huge first-week success. Between a 1.5-2.0 would be acceptable, 1.0-1.5 would be a work in progress and anything below a 1.0 would not be a very strong debut.

The 8/25 edition of WWE SmackDown drew a final 3.2 broadcast rating with a 5.3 share. This rating is up in a big way from what the show has been averaging as of late. With the move to Friday nights starting next week though, it will be very interesting to see what kind of a rating the show pulls given the numerous preemptions due to sports coverage.

WWE.com has added an article with Heidenreich in regards to a real-life situation where he has been unable to contact his father in Louisiana since Hurricane Katrina hit in the last few days. For more, click here. Thanks to everyone who sent word about that.
