Question: "Welcome Joey. It's great to have you here. I thought to myself... Why not start with a little negativity right off the bat? We all know about Bradshaw's behind the scenes politics. I know that one of the factors you attribute for WWE releasing you, has the signature of JBL. Could you please elaborate on what precipitated the fallout? And don't be shy to tell everyone how you really feel about Bradshaw."

Legend's Response: "Well, here it goes...When I got to WWE (WWF at the time) I was told to do things by the traditional manner. In other words, "show up and shut up!" I understand that there is a certain amount of ettiquette involved when coming to any new company so I decided that I would do things their way.

I was always polite and always made a point to say "hi" to everyone and shake their hands everyday as a sign of respect. Now believe me, I have NO RESPECT for JBL (or Brian Christopher) what so ever. But even though it made me feel like a total whore, I smiled and shook hands and did the "it's great to see you" crap... even though it was killing me to do so.

JBL liked to verbally "rib" me every day and see if I would crack but I never did. I would just sit aroun“d in the locker room and smile at everything he said no matter how un-funny, boring, non-sensical or offensive it was. I figured it was simply the "Hazing" of the new guy and I'd just have to put up with it.

Well, one day I was sitting in an open area by myself on a couple of wooden skids and talking on my cell phone. I got some bad news (in all honesty, I can't remember what that news was now but I do remember it upset me at the time) and when I finished I put my phone away and just kind of stared off in to space.

Apparantly J-BJ (oops, I mean JBL) walked in to the room like 8-10 meters behind me and stood in the door staring at my back. He never said a word, didn't make a noise with the door, nothing. Shortly after that I got word that JBL thought I was ignoring him. I got this from a VERY reliable source who is currently with the company so I won't name him and put him in undue heat, I I believe it is 100% true.

When I heard this I went right to the source and asked JBL if he had a problem with me. I wasn't threatening or anything, I just wanted to straighten out any mis communications we may have had. He told me everything was fine and that it was just a stupid rumor. I took him at face value and thought everything was OK.

In the next few weeks, everyone was telling me how he was bad mouthing me becausine I slighted him and that I had no respect. After going to him a second time and asking what the problem was, he claimed he didn't know anything about it but every week it was the same thing.

In truth, I don't believe he is this "tough guy" that he has marked out the office in to believing he is. I think he's a punk coward who takes liberties in the ring on people he knows he can get away with screwing over and he knows how to kiss the right asses. I watched him over-laugh at everything Vince said for 20 min one time and it was embarassing. He has screwed countless people out of jobs with WWE simply because he knows they are the ones who will show him up every time as the no-talent he is.

He's the type of person that makes this business so low brow and I wish nothing but bad things on him."
