As noted earlier, the scheduled headline match for the No Mercy PPV on October 9th involves Batista vs. Eddie Guerrero. Another rumored match involves Randy Orton & "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. teaming up to take on The Undertaker in a Handicap Match.

There are said to be plans for a feud between Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio later this year. Orton and Mysterio taped a match this past Tuesday that will air on SmackDown tonight.

There were said to be a few eyebrows raised during last week's SmackDown taping when Ken Kennedy debuted his top-rope flip finishing move on Funaki. Given the recent stance Vince McMahon has put on the cruiserweight division due to a few injuries taking place, some found it surprising that Kennedy was allowed to do the move.
