There was said to be a lot of disappointment within TNA after Mick Foley decided to turn down their offer in favor of signing a new deal with WWE this past week. Despite losing Foley, TNA has had plans for other big names as well to bring in for the Spike TV debut. As noted earlier this week, Bret Hart has been in talks with TNA off and on recently. Kevin Nash appears to be on his way back after taking time off from the company since April. Obviously, the three biggest free agents would be Sting (who worked for TNA during its weekly Wednesday night PPV run in Nashville), Bill Goldberg and Chris Jericho.

TNA is said to be very close to finalizing a video game deal. The company has hinted at offers from other companies in the past two years or so. The reason for the delay reportedly had to do with Dixie Carter not feeling they were the best deals for the company. It was reported that Bill Banks had originally put a message in his new "Bank Shot" column for this week that TNA was going to make an official announcement regarding the video game deal at the Unbreakable PPV on September 11th, but that comment was later pulled as the company still isn't sure when they will announce it. Spike TV would be a nice forum however.

There is interest from TNA in bringing in former WWE Diva Jackie Gayda once her 90 day no-compete clause ends. Former WWE Women's Champion Gail Kim is already headed to TNA. The company appears to be gearing up for many new names debuting during the first weeks of their Spike TV run and at the Bound for Glory PPv on October 23rd.
