For Immediate Release:
The Wrestling Channel are please to announce a forthcoming 're-launch', which will consist of a fresh new on-air look, as well as expansions in several other aspects of the wrestling industry. "TWC New-Era" will be gradually integrated into the current channel format/appearance in the coming weeks.
Here are some changes that are part of "TWC New-Era":
New Website Design
Last Friday, September 2nd, saw the launch of our brand new website. This fresh and functional new design (developed by 6ixdesign), now gives our viewers the ability to browse through a full week's schedule in advance, with a detailed breakdown of each show. Our viewers can now also see, by simply glancing under the top banner, what is now airing, what is up next, and what is due to air later that night.
Latest Wrestling News
Our new website now delivers the latest news headlines in the world of Pro Wrestling. Now wrestling fans need look no further than www.thewrestlingchannel.tv for their wrestling news. Our web reporters are constantly scouring the web for the latest stories as they break, and the TWC homepage will now be updated with the latest news as it breaks - so bookmark it now, and let us do the news-hunting, and you can enjoy a 'pop-up free' and 'easy-to-browse' news site, full of the latest news from the world of Pro-Wrestling.
We have also integrated a special "spoiler" news section on our main site page, to avoid our viewers from ruining results of shows yet to air on TWC. Our site is also 100% free from pop-up adverts.
New Online Store
We have completely revamped our online store. We now offer 'same-working day' shipping from London (for orders made before 1pm), and you can now login and check your order status and history. Stock levels will also be automatically monitored, and "out-of-stock" items will be clearly displayed as such.
We now stock almost four times as many items as before, and we are planning a huge increase over the coming months - including a huge variety of UFC, Pride and WWE stock. Our aim is to give UK wrestling fans the opportunity to purchase their favourite wrestling merchandise without having to pay high international shipping, and without paying over the odds. You can check out our new Online Store by clicking here.
New On-Air Appearance
TWC are currently re-vamping all of our promo videos, and a new fresh batch will be slowly integrated (and will fully replace) our existing videos within 3 weeks. We will now have all-new promo clips, to inform our viewers what time our programmes air at, as well as promoting upcoming feature shows (such as TNA PPV's) weeks in advance.
New Programming
The current TWC schedule now consists of ALL NEW programming (Pro Wrestling NOAH to re-commence in 2 weeks, and Z1 Max in the coming weeks). Be sure to tune in and catch the hottest wrestling action from around the globe. Click here for the latest schedule information.
Supercard Shows
Every month, The Wrestling Channel features a free TNA "PPV" show. We run exactly 5 weeks behind the TNA 'US' PPV schedule, so our upcoming TNA Supercard are scheduled for the following dates:
TNA SACRIFICE: Sunday, September 18th @ 8pm.
TNA UNBREAKABLE: Sunday, October 16th @ 8pm.
We have also added a poll to our website homepage (bottom right), which allows viewers to pick the upcoming Supercard Shows (every Sunday @ 8pm), provided there is no 'first-run' or 'repeated' TNA PPV scheduled.
More Updates
With our new Public Relations Department, The Wrestling Channel will now be able to answer more e-mails and queries, and in a quicker turnaround time. Members of our mailing list will now receive a weekly e-mail, which will include a full list of the matches for the following weeks first-run shows (and times of repeats) – we will also address any points of viewer interest (be they upcoming schedule changes, technical issues, the reasons for repeated shows, new merchandise in the online store, etc). Feel free to e-mail us with your queries and concerns and we will do our best to address them.
Summary
The future is looking good for The Wrestling Channel; with a fresh new on-air look, all new programmes, new website, expanding online store, and our new PR department promoting the channel and getting as much publicity as possible, we look forward to a bright "NEW-ERA" for The Wrestling Channel. Watch this space.
