Adam Lebow sent this in: I noticed that many internet sites are reporting that TSN, the home of Monday Night Raw in Canada, will not be airing any NHL hockey telecasts that will pre-empt WWE Raw. Unfortunately, the reports are incorrect. The current TV schedule that has been released by both the NHL and TSN only lists NATIONAL BROADCASTS (with the exemption of opening night, when TSN will have split feeds). The NHL on TSN has never pre-empted WWE Monday Night Raw (with the exemption of NHL Playoff hockey), however it is always the regionalized broadcasts of Toronto Maple Leaf or Montreal Canadians games which pre-empt Raw (Molson Canadian Leaf Hockey). More over, it is expected this year that TSN will pick up additional regional games for the other Canadian franchises. Until the NHL officially releases the regional coverage for all of its NHL teams, one can not say if Raw will be pre-empted on Monday's, although with 11 Monday Night Games this season being played by the Toronto Maple Leafs, odds are there will be at least a few picked up by TSN. When the NHL releases its regionalized coverage, I will update you and let you know what regionalized pre-emptions will occur. Don't forget that for regionalized pre-emptions, TSN has a split feed. One feed for the region where the game is played and the other feed showing typical TSN programs).

Big Bad Mike sent this in: When resetting your DVRs for the "WWE Friday Night SMACKDOWN" title from "WWE Smackdown", Don't forget to reset "WWE RAW" to "WWE Monday Night RAW". Your DVR won't record the program without the right name. The old name won't work. I wonder whose bright idea it was at the WWE to emphasize the Smackdown move to Fridays by changing the name of the Monday night show without warning viewers with DVRs... Undoubtedly this will make for a poor showing in the ratings this week and for RAW as no one who had RAW set on their series manager will have it recorded for them when they come back from the Labor Day weekend sprawl.

Eric Ronin sent this in: Recently I decided to go to the movies after repeatedly seeing the promos of "Transporter 2" on the WWE's Website. During the movie I recognized a fimiliar face which I confimed with the movies credits. Marty Wright aka "The Boogeyman" has a cameo appearance in the "Transporter 2" as a Swat Team Commander, he's only in the movie for about a minute but if you check the credits he's listed as Commander and next to it is his real name Marty Wright. Also on an older note I was watching the DVD "Any Given Sunday" the other day and recognized from a couple of scenes in the movie mostly Team huddles and Locker Room Spots that he was one of the football players in the movie. In the credits it lists the football players in the movie. You'll see Marty Wright's name there as well.
