Elimination Bout: Champions The Naturals vs. America’s Most Wanted vs. Team Canada vs. Winner of the Candido Memorial Tournament

Nashville, TN (September 7, 2005) In recent months, the Tag Team Title picture in TNA Wrestling has been a chaotic war between The Naturals, AMW and Team Canada. As TNA prepares for SpikeTV, these three dominant teams have remained atop the mountain, attempting to eliminate each other from the title picture along the way.

However, against the odds, The Naturals have persevered as the NWA World Tag Team Champions. In the face of their longtime enemies America’s Most Wanted and the numbers-game of Team Canada, Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas have survived thanks to their tremendous ability and the guidance of legendary manager “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart.

At Sacrifice, The Naturals and America’s Most Wanted combined efforts for one night only in an attempt to stop Team Canada’s run for the gold. Their efforts failed in the end, resulting in another meltdown between The Naturals and AMW. With all three teams still at each other’s throats, Championship Committee member Larry Zbyszko ruled that the NWA World Tag Team Title will be on the line at “Unbreakable” in a four-team elimination bout, with the fourth and final entry being the winner of the ongoing Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament.

On this Friday’s Impact – the final TNA broadcast before “Unbreakable” – the team of Sean Waltman and Alex Shelley will take on Chris Sabin and Shocker in the finals of the Candido Memorial Tournament, with the winner advancing to the Tag Team Title bout at the Pay-Per-View that Sunday night.

The winner of the tournament will have reason to celebrate, but at the same time they will be thrust in the middle of a chaotic tag team war between The Naturals, America’s Most Wanted and Team Canada. The Naturals must beat the odds to remain champions, while AMW and Team Canada are hell-bent on regaining the gold by any means necessary.

The bout will be contested under elimination rules, meaning all four teams will start the bout. When one team is pinned or submits, they are eliminated from the bout. Who will remain standing in the end and walk out with the NWA World Tag Team Title? Tune in Sunday night, September 11 at “Unbreakable” live and exclusively on Pay-Per-View!
