Thanks to Tracy for sending in the following recap from the Smackdown Tapings:

I just got home from the Smackdown tapings and I have to say it was one of the best events I have been to. I had floor seats behind the announcers. The view was good except I couldn't see the wrestlers on the entrance way. Here is a recap of some of the cation, in no particular order.

The online hour of Smackdown will have some great stuff including a confrontation between The Undertaker and the Ortons, when they come out to present him with a check for his retirement fund. They are on the entranceway and Taker is in the ring. Randy ran his mouth for a few minutes and then told Taker to come and get the check. Taker rolled his eyes back and then there was a bunch of fire on the stage, I think the check caught fire.

MNM vs LOD will also be in the online hour. Good match as well, LOD won after Heidenreich hit one of them (I don't remember which one) with the title belt while the ref was knocked out.

Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero in the steel cage is going to be on TV. Great match. Lots of high spots and near finishes. Eddie won.

Batista vs JBL in a Bull Rope Match was good. Not my favorite style of match, but still good. Batista won.

Chris Benoit vs Orlando Jordan--I don't remember whether or not this one is for TV or online. Benoit won and broke his time record.

After the cameras stopped we were treated to a bonus match -- Randy Orton came out and called out The Undertaker. The had a great match with some great spots. Most of the people around me had left after the Main Event (Bull Rope Match), so I could see really well. A few false finishes, both guys got their finishers in. Taker won in the end after he tombstoned both Randy and his dad and pinned them both.

Before the doors opened, Matt Morgan and Mark Jindrak were outside standing in line waiting to get in like everyone else. They signed autographs and posed for pictures with anyone who asked. (I didn't, and now I am kicking myself for not going over.)

Overall, a great show. Definitely worth the $42 bucks I paid for the tickets.
