According to reports, commercials hyping Friday Night SmackDown on UPN and Monday Night RAW's return to the USA Network on October 3rd have been playing during US Open Tennis coverage.
Attendance at the SmackDown tapings this past Tuesday night in Atlanta was said to be very small. One report from a fan who attended the tapings said crowds didn't start showing up until minutes before show time. Many ticket holders were "upgraded" to better sets when it became apparent that attendance was going to be low based on advanced ticket sales.
