With the upcoming cancellations of WWE Velocity and Sunday Night Heat, some wrestlers were nervous from a possible roster cutback, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. The WWE has no plans on handing some releases.

The WWE is now interested in signing Sean Waltman before he signs with TNA. They didn't want to sign him before because of his affiliation with Joanie Laurer (his Ex, Chyna). They felt that if he would have stayed with her and was to work for their company, he wouldn't be as reliable and probably a bit messed up. But since his breakup, things are looking good for Waltman in terms of a possible WWE comeback. Another reason is his strong performance against Jerry Lynn at TNA's last PPV, which proves he still has what it takes.
