Aries & Strong, another TNA departure, & groans over NWA Title change

Based on their strong match at the Unbreakable PPV this past Sunday, it is believed both Austin Aries and Roderick Strong have or about to be offered TNA deals. Many TNA employees were very high on both following the PPV on Sunday.

Ray Lloyd (aka Glacier during his WCW days) is no longer working backstage for TNA as he has taken on a full-time teaching position. Lloyd had been working the gorilla position at TNA events the last few months along with Jerry Jarrett and Scott D'Amore. Tim Welch took on Lloyd's duties at the Unbreakable PPV on Sunday.

Groans could be heard from both wrestlers in TNA and fans of the product following last night's decision to put the NWA World Heavyweight Title back on Jeff Jarrett at the Border City Wrestling event run by Scott D'Amore. It should be noted that the talk internally within TNA is that Dixie Carter and Spike TV officials are more in favor of pushing the X Division (which can be seen in the weekly commercials appearing during RAW & other WWE programming) and that the Heavyweight Division could take a back seat to it. So, even though many don't consider Jarrett winning the title again to be a positive one, if both divisions were to be presented as equals with strong talent in both, then this move may not come off as negative as it is right now.
