Brock Lesnar confirmed for New Japan event, Hebner's, & Jake Roberts
On Friday, September 16, 2005 at 5:14 PM EST As reported earlier this week, it became official today that Kazuyuki Fujita would defend the IWGP Heavyweight Title against Masahiro Chono and former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar on October 8th at the New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Tokyo Dome. This is Lesnar's first pro wrestling match since WrestleMania 20. Also announced for the show includes Yuji Nagata vs. Matt Morgan and Manabu Nakanishi & Kendo Kashin vs. Charlie Haas & Mark Jindrak.

Both Dave & Earl Hebner are scheduled to appear at the 4th Annual "Night of the Superstars" benefit show for the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center on October 29th in Waynesboro, Virginia. Dave & Earl will be taking part in a "Piper's Pit" segment with Rowdy Roddy Piper. This will be the first time either have made an appearance since their WWE releases this past summer. The card for the event includes Jerry Lawler vs. Bill Dundee with Jimmy Valiant as the referee, Dusty Rhodes vs. "Cowboy" Bob Orton in a Bullrope Match with David Flair as the referee, Ivory vs. Jazz, Al Snow vs. Maven, Billy Gunn vs. Rodney Mack, Mikey Batts vs. Sonjay Dutt and more.
