The 9/16 edition of WWE SmackDown drew a final 2.3 broadcast rating with a 4.2 share. Although this number is up from the debut edition of Friday Night SmackDown last week, it is still much lower than what the show drew in its previous Thursday night timeslot. Plus, given the preemptions, WWE won't have a good idea of what the show is drawing in the new timeslot until baseball season finishes.

For those wondering, TSN in Canada will be carrying the full three hour edition of WWE RAW on October 3rd that has been titled "WWE Homecoming."

Despite legal threats from WWE, Brian Cooper at bigvanvader.com has gotten his site back online for the time being. The legal battle doesn't appear to be over however. (Thanks to Joe for also sending word)
