Total Sports Asia wants WWE India tour, & TNA stars in India right now
On Friday, September 23, 2005 at 1:49 PM EST Indiantelevision.com has a story up regarding Total Sports Asia and how its biggest property at the moment is WWE programming. The station notes that they would like to have some WWE wrestlers come to India for a promotional tour and also bring a House Show tour in May. The article notes that "rival TNA" is doing this at the moment with Sonjay Dutt, Simon Diamond and Shark Boy. For more, click here.
It should be noted that after WWE's last tour in India, it is doubtful many wrestlers would like to return to the country. Many wrestlers returned home very sick from the tour and missed many dates as a result. So if WWE was to schedule a tour, it would no doubt make many very unhappy.
On a related note, TNA's Simon Diamond has added a commentary profiling his current TNA promotional tour in India along with Sonjay Dutt and Shark Boy. Diamond talks about the visit thus far and includes a full list of where the tour will take him. To check it out, click here.
